Dyna Floors sands and polishes timber floors across Brisbane. The business is run by Mitch (Michri Mendez), who has been on the tools for more than 20 years and has traded as Dyna Floors since 2012. We’re QBCC licensed (licence 15343047) and ATFA accredited.
Who We Are
Most of our work is full sanding and polishing: old coatings sanded back to bare timber, then finished. We also do staining, deck sanding, stairs and invisible raw finishes. Floors sanded in recent years that only need a top coat get a re-coat. We work on Queenslanders, post-war homes, new builds and renovations, in hardwood, hoop pine and engineered oak. Engineered oak can be sanded and finished like any other timber floor.
On a renovation, we’re usually the last trade in. The builder or chippy does the board repairs, then we sand and finish, so nobody walks over a fresh floor. If you’d rather have the floor done mid-build and covered, we can do that too. We use water-based finishes from Bona, Berger Seidle, Loba and Aqua Gold. Our main sander has strong built-in dust extraction, and the edgers and smaller machines run off a dust extraction vac. Every price we give you includes GST, and it’s confirmed with you before work starts.

Dyna Floors regularly services Brisbane's inner suburbs — Paddington, Indooroopilly, Hawthorne, Ashgrove, Camp Hill, Bardon, Toowong, Kangaroo Point, Jindalee and the surrounds — as well as Redcliffe, Narangba, Ipswich and select projects further out.
