What a whole-house job looks like
A 200m² floor is not just a 60m² floor repeated three times. It is planned differently.
Staging. Almost nobody moves out for a week. So the job gets broken into zones with a sequence — usually bedrooms and the far end first, living and the main path out last, so there is always a route through the house that is not curing.
Timing. A whole-house job in Fig Tree Pocket typically runs five days to a fortnight depending on area, stairs, repairs and finish. We build the schedule at quote stage and tell you which rooms are unavailable on which days.

Feature timbers

Ironbark — very dense and very hard. It takes longer, wears grit faster, and the cost reflects that. It also polishes to a depth that softer timbers do not.
Blackbutt — pale and even, more forgiving to work, and it shows a coating’s colour cast more than a darker timber does. A finish with a yellow bias will read on Blackbutt.
Brush Box — pinkish, fine grain, sands beautifully. Common in older homes across Brisbane.
We will always do a finish sample on your actual floor before committing. What a coating does on a sample board in a showroom is not what it does on your timber.
Access and site setup
Acreage brings its own logistics. Long driveways, gates, and sometimes a house set well back from the road. Machines and extraction gear need to get to the door, and we need reliable power on site.
